It's Been a good week for the military!!!

CAMP BUEHRING, Kuwait(Jan. 20, 2008) -- If anyone has wondered what can make a battle hardened Marine act like a love-struck high-schooler, the answer is simple—a meet and greet with Scarlett Johansson.

The 23-year-old bombshell met with nearly 600 service members at Camp Buehring, Kuwait Jan. 20 during her five-day United Service Organizations (USO) tour to the Gulf region.

Army sergeant heading to Vegas for handicapping contest

"The talk of the tournament is expected to be Chris Lavezza, 32, of Stedman, N.C. But that hometown doesn't tell the story. He currently lives in Germany as a sergeant in the United States Army, and when he qualified online he was deployed in Kabul, Afghanistan, as an information management officer, basically keeping the computers up and running".
